Alaska Fly-Out Fishing

While our home water, the Naknek River, offers fishing opportunities every day, including world class trophy rainbow trout fishing, there are so many rivers and streams to see in Bristol Bay, each offering a different experience.  With a float plane on our dock, we offer our guests the opportunity to explore and experience wild fly-out fishing.

We fly in a De Havilland Beavers on floats with one of the best and most experienced bush pilots in the world. From the float plane dock at our lodge, our flights will take you through incredible, untouched countryside. We land on rivers, lakes, and ponds before we arrive at our Alaska fly-in fishing destination. Depending on location, we may walk over land to the river or up the river from where we landed. We might even float in one of our small rafts and get picked up at another location downstream. While on a backcountry fishing trip, you may encounter moose, brown bears, caribou, wolves, fox and eagles.

The small stream fly-out fishing keeps anglers returning year after year. In some locations we are able to sight fish for rainbow trout with streamers, egg patterns or mice. Dolly Varden fishing can only be described as ridiculous, and if we are lucky, we find pods of ocean-fresh silver salmon that are willing to eat anything that moves.

Our pilot Chris will fly you around to the most amazing places and bring a smile to your face in the process. Chris has been flying planes since he was in diapers and decades of experience in Bristol Bay. His record speaks volumes and he will ensure your safety to and from our fishing grounds.

During your Alaska fly-out fishing trip you will be accompanied by your guide with all the gear, food and beverages supplied.
